@lizardbyte has made a number of purchases from me dating back to June 15, 2026, including powerleveling and raid gear. He usually paid with Zelle or CashApp, but made one payment of $288 via PayPal Friends and Family for a bundle of raid gear on July 31st. Received a chargeback dispute notification yesterday, months later. Redacting his personal info in case this is a mistake.

His name is consistent across PayPal, CashApp, and Zelle, looks like he is arguing to PayPal that it wasn't him who made this transaction. So I've submitted all the evidence to PayPal.

Was going to give him some time to reply to me, but saw that he read my message to him last night without replying.

So that's what I've got for now. Haven't heard from him, perhaps if he doesn't respond I could get his identification info to upload to the PayPal case since he's Verified? I am assuming it will match the information on his PayPal, CashApp, and Zelle since everything else does.

Anyways, would recommend not trading with guy for now.

"Was going to give him some time to reply to me, but saw that he read my message to him last night without replying."

similar behavior that happened to me recently.

if original poster truly is in the right best thing you can do is find the buyers personal email/phone number and give them a call/email once a day under legal debt collection rights, dont cross over into harassment. had a guy try to scam me for 1400$ and after 2 months of debt collection i finally got my money because he said "what do i have to do to get this to stop" and i replied "just do the right thing nothing more, nothing less"

Dang! Glad you got it back at least.

PayPal has sided with me in the past for the few chargeback attempts I've dealt with. Hopefully they do again and that's the end of it.

Kind of hard to argue your PayPal, CashApp and Zelle all got hacked simultaneously and a string of purchases were made with them over months without you ever noticing...
