Discussion What's the proper course of action for disappearing Krono?

I have seen recent posts as of a few months ago regarding disappearing Krono. I have been buying Krono on here for almost four years and never had an issue with Krono disappearing. Granted, I only play a few characters, I am not a major buyer and I don't keep a stock. I purchased 5 Krono on August 26th from a reputable seller and saw it come into my inventory. Logged in today, September 3rd to disperse them across a few guys and all 5 are missing from the seller who sent to me. Did my luck run out?

Is petitioning recommended/not recommended? The seller is responsive and going to look into it, but just curious what the recommended course of action is.

Generally you just petition and they will reimburse you.

many moons ago when i was struck by the great krono disappearance in Norrath. I had 45 krono vanish before my very eyes. After petitioning I was reimbursed for only a single krono. tread carefully adventurer as you may not get them all back.

Yikes, that's a lot more than my 5. We shall see what happens. Hopefully they reimburse the 5 Krono and everyone can be on their way.

If I get only a partial/no reimbursement, I'll have to come back here to figure out the next steps. At least I know exactly where all 5 came from because I only buy a few a month, then use them all within a few days.

No dice. The GM condescendingly (as if the Krono was dirty) asked for the character who sent me the Krono to investigate. I'm sure they already have this information in their back end, because I only had 5 Krono sent to me this day (to be precise, the whole month).

They will not reimburse or look into anything unless I provide them with the persons name who sent the Krono. I am not sure if the original receipt disappeared, or if i deleted the receipt.

Regardless, the seller is unresponsive on this forum now.

Is there a specific Admin here to reach out to who may help mediate? I've exhausted the petition option (can provide the proof if needed).

If you run logs you should be able to search for it.

If you dont run logs I dont really think theres anything you can do.

If a specific seller was doing something nefarious to obtain krono, there would be many more reports regarding their krono going missing after purchase.

Alot of Krono sellers are just buying from other people and flipping, or selling items in game for krono. Theres not really any course of action to be had. Or any way to know what kronos are "bad".

Im not sure exactly what sort of action youre looking for the seller to take, but i dont think any is needed on their end. As was mentioned before the usual way to go about this is by petitioning.
