I have bought several accounts but never sold any. I'm not boxing anymore so I'm thinking about selling 3-4 of my Accounts. But I have no clue how to price them for several reasons.

1. They have been suspended twice for use of 3rd party software. These were boxing accounts. And I plan to let people know about the suspensions.

2. The Accounts are on FV and I'm not sure how that impacts price.

3. Each account has multiple level 125 toons with Raid gear and Augs. Some have max AA.
2-5 125 toons per account.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Rob

First, commendable on your honesty Rob.

If time is a constraint, you might simply disclose that the accounts have faced two suspensions and adjust pricing accordingly.
This allows the new owner to assume the risk while securing the accounts at a more favorable rate.

If there are any forum-specific issues I am unaware of, Bractos would know the answer.
I don’t handle accounts myself, this is simply my personal perspective on offering multiple ways to sell the accounts rather than limiting it to a single approach.

Just my two cents,

D

First hats off to you for being honest!

Second, it's so hard to sell any good toon atm just due to the fact of how easy everyone can box and obtain raid gear toons, for example an $1000 toon is worth like $350-$500 atm, it's sad just true.

Id personally sell the gear on the server, then use the plat / krono you obtain to buy krono and then Sell the krono here to a reputable buyer or sell them yourself here.

Then can post the "hot" accounts for cheap and maybe someone is willing to give you $35 for it or something haha

I'd strip the raid gear and sell that off separately. Any account with even one prior suspension is typically too risky to safely sell, and if it does sell, the price would not reflect the potential headache.

Sell all the gear you can, trade for Kronos, then sell those to maximize profits.
Thanks the last thing I won't is for someone to feel cheated.

Yeah the real value you have is the gear and augments. It's also difficult to receive the correct value for the additional toons per account. It doesn't deflate the value of them, but it doesn't increase it exponentially either. Kind of like trying to sell a Swiss-Army knife to someone who only wants to use the blade, kind of a deal.

You can also list the raid gear and augs you have within a post and sell that outright to folks too, there is a decent market for people wanting to buy raid gear with cash. Would be easy to price out too, based on what the nugget or ore variant is going for. (If the reagent to make T2 or w/e is going for $80 an ore, for example, it's pretty easy to sell already-made-gear for about 90% of that value)

I'd strip them down, sell all the gear you can for cash, plat or Krono; then if you do get the itch to play these guys again, can throw some cheap FTP gear on them for a fraction of what you profit.

I really appreciate the advice. I would never want to offer someone a less than honest option to buy. It's just not who I am.

I really appreciate the info coming from you Bracos. Honestly I've never had anything against you. That's why I never kept the back and forth going. I learned a long time ago that just because I disagree with someone doesn't make them a bad person or even wrong. Sometimes there are just two sides. I greatly appreciate your advice on ethically handling this matter. And I have already begun to follow it.
Thanks,
Rob
