let it be known the user Hrplife is untrustworthy and often comes into trouble and hardship. Must be his karma. He sold me a mage for $175 and never delivered on his promises.

This is one of the disadvantages of allowing people to charge with PayPal friends and family. There’s little to no risk for scammers as you can’t dispute.

I’ve unfortunately learned my lesson on this recently. Sorry you did too 😔

There are disadvantages in both directions. If you don't pay F&F people get the goods and then dispute the charge. Which is the reason most, if not all, people have gone to F&F for payment. The potential for scamming sadly goes both directions.

I think more directly, we currently have 2 disputes with the same user. Neither user has given feedback about the issue on the users profile. The user does have 2 neutral feedbacks from where there was an issue that resulted in a refund. Tren lost $175 and just shrugged his shoulder at the situation until a month later almost. Providing a negative feedback, even if you just decided to ignore the loss would have been justified. But yet, no negative feedback, no neutral feedback. Just no feedback at all.

Hi Chat, I would leave feedback but had to remove myself from the chat due to the 10 message limit.

I am open to providing feedback if it is possible another way.

Thanks!

Is he banned yet?

He hasn't even been online yet to provide a response. You may well get your money back with a bit of patience. They are under investigation and will stay that way until the issue is corrected, or they refuse to correct it. It's not like they're getting online every day and conducting transactions here or anything.

People have scammed with a big fat warning tag above their name that urges people to not make trades, so even if they don't log back on we should still ban. I'll drop the hammer in the next few days unless another mod wants to first.

Going to go ahead and pull the trigger on the ban. As of now they still haven't been online.
it would probably be advantageous to keep their F&F in a json and have a script query all messages daily to make sure they don’t come back under another name

edit: just add a if condition to posting a private message that routes to the banned F&F list. much easier.
