Sad part is @Leeren hasn't been on since the 17th. I get holidays etc, but if you're going to make a dispute at least be around to answer. Now with all the info above I think gnomeknight is 100% in the wrong and should like Xundae said have to be verified to even continue his journey here, but wonder if it's a situation where Leeran was like imma give EQ 1 more shot then gets nailed with this crap then now says fuck it I'm done? lol

how was i wrong dude filed a claim 1 day after he sent me the money and he sent it at 2am my time filed a claim by 4pm the next day i was at work and didnt even know he sent it till mid day he filed a claim before i could even reply to him he sent money 3rd claim was filed 4th thats one day bro and he sent money 3am on the 3rd so how was i in the wrong. and not only did he file a nonsense claim saying he was hacked and funds where taken with out his consent didnt even give us a chance to talk it out or work it out thats on him. but either way paypal froze me and refunded him so i dont see how im the problem here.
I mean its I guess common sense? You are doing a trade you NEVER give out PayPal or accept money when you're not going to be around, You both for sure are in the wrong in every way of this entire deal, But for you to throw out and accept money before you can even get your shit together to give the account info to someone is slightly in easy terms fucked. You pay someone for something and don't hear nothing for 24 hours / 1 day (but in the early on your 2 days to respond from this dispute so I'm unsure how you get all in 1 day, your information is to scattered and to fishy) and you expect to be CALM about it?! $375 is ALOT of money man, this world isn't what it used to be, and money isn't what it used to be. But
Sure, did he jump the gun fully after 1 day. Probably, But I myself have done 60+ trades and NEVER have this issue we have here. You communicate times for both parties to be available for transaction. The dude paid for the account, and you failed to give him account information. Regardless of if he put a dispute in or not.
Regardless of if this gets dropped since Leeran isn't logging in obviously, you should still need to be verified to do further business on this site. You are demanding your title to be clear from Redbot but when he asked you to give Leeran account info you ignored him for 19 days and here you are. Finally wanting to be around. Demand Teichou to mark it resolved when Both parties have not discussed in this thread it is resolved, I dont see Leeran with a new SK? Seems unresolved to me in stands of ECT. As of everything else it can be settled but seems your "communication" with Leeran lacks since he isnt talking here on ECT.
At the end of the day, you screwed up a trade, really bad. You might disagree, but EVERYTIME we see someone send cash, and not receive information / items, it falls back to the fault of the person who accepted the cash. I don't see a reason to keep you on this website personally because again, you had no issues accepting cash for someone and sleeping on it. Honest sellers will make sure they have a way of communicating to their buyers at all times, regardless of whether they're at work or not. As soon as you saw the money, you should've reached out, and you didn't.
Also remember, he never received the SK, he only got his money BACK for what you DIDN'T send. If PayPal would've dropped the case and let you keep the money, he still wouldn't have the SK information. I also fail to agree with your logic of the 24 hour timeline, as again, it took you over 24 hours to respond here, you only came scrambling back to ECT (the form of communication to @Leeren) once you saw your name in the dispute forums. There's plenty of opportunities to make things right within this time period, and yet you kept blowing it off. Malicious or not, that's not the sort of business we like here.
I think Leeren hasn't had a whole lot of business in his tenure here at ECT. He comes back for an account, almost gets burned yet manages to recover his money. If that was my first experience, once I got my money back I'd steer clear of it too. But, I agree; wish he'd shed a bit more light on the situation.
Also, at this point; I would've sent the account information over to him with / without the money, that would've gone lightyears further than trying to play hardball by trying to force the buyer to give up his one and only card he can play.
I agree with Bractos. I think the main issue here is that, PayPal dispute or not, Leeren never received the account information. You could’ve given it to him the next day "after work" and asked him to drop the dispute. Surely you were aware that you had sent him your payment information the night before, presumably for him to pay you. Leeren's original post reads as if you never made any effort to contact him after he sent the money, and the first communication you two had was in this thread—multiple days after the money was sent.
With that said, I do sympathize a bit with you, gnomenight. I’ve had customers respond instantly to multiple messages for 10+ minutes, and once I send my payment information, they stop responding. Then, sometimes over an hour later, they randomly send the money and obviously expect quick delivery for their goods. While annoying, this is just one of the things you must account for as a seller. If you were going to go offline at ANY point after payment information was sent, you should have clearly communicated that to Leeren.
If gnomenight were a trusted member of the forums, it might be a different situation. However, Leeren is a verified member here of 5 years, while gnomenight is an unverified account with no feedback, just a few months old. I fully agree that he should get verified in order to continue with any sort of dealings here.
