Here's the REAL kicker folks. Redbot has KNOWN about Diamond Krono's ways for sometimes. He's just now "getting involved" because so many of you are coming forward and he has no choice but to address it. I have emails from him where he laughed at me getting scammed by Diamond and admitted he knew he was a scammer. Might be time for you guys to find another place to buy and sell. I also was the first person to report on Diamonds behavior on youtube last year. If you just search up Diamond Krono you'll see all the videos. he is a drug addicted felon that lives in an RV with anoter fellow junkie. He's tatted head to toe and fades in and out of consciousness constantly. Everything you're seeing, how DK is talking now, the pictures he has as his avatar now, he's ALWAYS been that guy, you're just now finally seeing it. Was a long LONG con from the get go.

I can tell you, from a phone call that I had with Diamond Krono on Discord in 2023, that that is DK.

No proof? look at where he shows you he’s logged into ectunnel as diamond krono. All the proof is there and all the discord conversations are in the videos.
Also 4 years ago I worked closely with diamond on TLPs. I was in charge of power leveling people with my boxes and then selling in bulk to DK. He’d always tell me keep doing good business then later on when you decide to pull the rug and go rogue no one will believe the victims because you have a bubble of positive feedback around you. I always knew he was a scammer and he knew who I was but didn’t care. He’s addicted to the money. I quit the game after this all went down after he failed to pay me the $1200 he owed me. Maybe that was my karma for how I behaved years ago. Just funny to see people on here acting surprised that the guy is a mass fraud. Remember, it’s always the people you’d never suspect actually doing the bad shit in plain sight.
DK and I used to sit on video calls for hours where he’d fanboy over me. He’s a sick dude. Also owns weapons and absolutely bipolar manic and more than likely schizophrenic exacerbated by his drug and alcohol addiction. This guy makes me look like Mother Theresa.

I haven’t checked this site in literally 12 months. I was googling something and the DK scam thread pulled at top of results. Was intrigued and started laughing my ass off because I fucking called this shit years ago. I have no intention of being on here just had to give u guys the facts.
lol I remember that toon name messing with us. And yes we’re doing phenomenal. Not that anyone likes to hear good news about me but now 5 years sober and even quit smoking cigarettes 40 days ago. Gaining weight, focused on my family and living my life.
And yes DK and I worked together for about 2-3 years. He always knew it was me and didn’t give 2 shits. All about keeping the money train moving and he knew I too was also a master of manipulation.
Also my scam days are LONG behind me. Only came here to report the facts I knew all along. I’m not scared of redbot and don’t care what he does to me but it’s important you guys know he absolutely was aware of DKs behavior and openly turned a blind eye to it. DK used to always tell me how no one would believe when he scammed because of his feedback. This was years after we worked together when i lived at the motel PLing people. He's ALWAYS known who I am that's WHY he worked with me. That's why I was genuinely surprised when he actually finally burned me. The guy has an ego of epic proportions. He was his own downfall. on another funny note, he used to beg me to chill with him and rave about me. I used to think he was just gas lighting, but i actually truly believe he was fascinated by me.

The sad thing is that I was aware that DK scammed you, that it wasn't an isolated incident and has been going on for a long while, and felt like a crazy person when I tried to speak "truth to power" by sounding the alarm that RJT was scamming people. There was never any solid proof, even if people told me about it or I was directly aware, because nobody was willing to speak out publicly. There are still people who are keeping it to DMs because they're afraid of him or think he'll square up and remit payment. Do you know how crazy that is? It's crazy.

I think Sic was right when he said dk ran a bit of a ponzi scheme, or at least was getting loans to pay off other loans, and when other sellers lowered prices it ruined his margins and he crashed.
Damn. I actually played SWTOR with a guy who was trying to sell ~70 Kronos at one point. I sent him to DK who I figured had the funds laying around to cover the ~$650 for resale. I was surprised to learn he just took the Kronos, then turned around and sold them over the course of the next day before eventually paying my buddy. I remember thinking; well shit, I could've just done that myself. But, if you're paying back past customers on new Krono supplies, that definitely lands in the Ponzi-Scheme realm. Unfortunately would be hard to try and combat that by disallowing what is effectively consignment based sales. Too easy to get upside-down once supply or demand shorts out. Makes sense.
i think he ponzii schemed, got too underwater and came crumbling down when he couldn't keep up - you can see escalation in emotions about how the krono market is dying/dead, eq being dead, this is the death of krono sales, etc - and then his hostility for other people getting in on big krono selling while actually playing both sides in a pretty predatory gross way.
solely buying and selling you're already only making your money on the margin, he frequently would tell people his margin is bigger than anyone 3.50+, but you'd see him buying at 9.50 and selling at 11.00 - he'd tell people his volume was several thousands of dollars in pocket every day.
i think he took some loans so he could try and buy out the market, keep the resale market high to try and make larger profit on a large pool
but people were selling below his threshold - so then he couldn't move anything --- and a macroeconomic principle is "money is the fluid of the economy" --- so if that money he has isn't moving, he's not able to can-kick that scam down the road.
some of the other larger sellers would just wait it out, because they weren't pressed to sell at/below their threshold and have the discipline to keep that straight.
i think dk was forced because he had debts to pay, and was EverSinking. I suspect the new TLP being a "bust" really messed up his +/- on debts and potential incoming.
i think he took "loans" to pay off other loans and was struggling because he got so behind he didn't have anything left on the bone for himself.
he was able to do it for a while because if you manage to do the buy-low / sell-high thing with a large volume, there is money on the margin --- but if you're bad at math (or meth as some have speculated) that gets much harder.
this is kind of hard to piece all this together from screenshots, heresay, and whatnot, but starts coming together the more and more people share info.
there are some people (who have asked to stay nameless) who got scammed because they were doing exactly what dk asked - to trust him based on reputation and feedback and all that - he owed them money, would send them 10% of what money he owed, and then somehow got *additional* krono from them. psychologically this scratches a "im not being scammed because this person sent me some stuff and made an additional deal, and showering me with praise, and is down in these trenches with me"
i've been shared some screenshots of him praising a person, and then immediately in messages with another just absolutely saying how they're a piece of shit and low iq and other really crappy stuff.
when he posted that report on @spk1985 and spk shared the pm's us - i was pretty alarmed at what took place in that conversation. i posted some of my thoughts on that thread
I'm gonna go on a ledge and say that I'd bet my 597 ducats that dk praised @Dealt21 in PM's - prolly said some shit like "its just us 2 against everyone" or "you remind me of myself when i was starting out" and "follow me and you'll go far" --- all the while absolutely roasting him in PM's to other people. now - do people talk shit about other people in pms/dms true or otherwise? of course, and unfortunately, that's probably part and parcel for the game, but i doubt many other people are shitting on someone in one place and telling them how great they are in another. would really love a confirm/deny @Dealt21 (you certainly don't have to chime in if you don't want to - but i suspect you were getting played too)
what is really interesting to me is if FangBreaker had been a very popular server, and he had been able to stay ahead - would anyone have figured it? if so, when? We are having people who are like "yeah 2 years ago i got scammed by him for xyz but didn't chase it because of #1 seller and drama and all that" - holy shit

Ashamed to admit that he was playing both sides and stoking discord between us. I don't know if he was doing to the same on the other end (roasting TGC and me to Dealt) but he was absolutely planting seeds in his garden and watering them vigorously.
Not wanting to work with us, doesn't care if he soaks up all deals, is a meth head, laughing at upsetting us, and so on. Dealt innocently reached out to confirm and I exploded on him. No excuse, but it was the week after a serious surgery and I was beyond medicated on painkillers. DK knew this and exploited it.
Then DK just wouldn't stop. He looped in other traders that I'm close to and started attacking them. TGC and I would frequently receive 20+ messages in the middle of the night, or an entire damn page of messages before either one of us responded. The moment of clarity hit like a sock full of nickels.
Then the guns profile pictures and rambling got even more insane. The way that he talks to the Fitzgeralds in those videos is even crazier. He'd been doing this for years and this just doesn't stop getting more uncomfortable.
It's been an exhausting few months. I'm sorry to the users who got scammed, I'm sorry to Dealt, I'm sorry that I got handily played by somebody that knew I was not in my right mind, I'm sorry that the admins/mods are having to put in work, and I'm sorry to whatever local police department and cybercrimes unit is going to have to interact with this individual. Here's hoping there are actual consequences for the interstate (and international?) wire fraud so that he has time to get clean and reflect on the life he was living.

I'm not talking about a few KR. In the past two months alone it has been over 800 KR. He has always paid me fast and without asking.
I trusted him enough that I would just agree to a price he was going to sell it to me for, normally a little under market value and I would just send him 100 KR and I would t even check to see if/when he paid. It was always in small batches over the next couple of days.
This went until the day he was suspended. Even after that he let me know if the drama happening and told me not to worry, he would pay me back as soon as he can.
He still owes me for about 35ish KR. Would have to check the math for the exact amount. Any admin can verify any of this information by checking the messages between the two of us on this site. Tho we normally talked on discord, we kept all transactions to the messages on this site as an insurance policy.
He has since been offline on discord since, idk what is going on, but seems like something is happening in the real world.
I still have some trust in him based on past interactions, but this thread does have me questioning it. I also probably won't be doing the sell for me option in the future if he does snap out of what ever funk he is in.

It appears he either blocked me or he deleted his discord. I'm pretty sure it's the latter. I'm trying one more method of trying to contact him before I spill my tea.
Last conversation I had with him on Discord. 6/29 was the last time he issued a payment. He did seem very desperate for KR there; he kept raising what he was offering me, and earlier had asked me to ask if any of my friends had any to sell at that price. Luckily, no one had any.
So he owes me $286.25, I accidently sent him 30 not 35 there lol. Like I said we both trusted each other and apparently both missed it.
So yea, i guess im spilling the tea after seeing the other posts..... So he has always been a little crazy, and rantful. Sometimes going off on random tangeants and getting upset over nothing. He always apologized the next day, so i assumed he was either an angry drunk or had bipolar. Never really wanted to find out.

I've opened a thread with all of the admins in a private chat, because my identity is in most of these screenshots, but here is what is going on... I've had Diamond Krono on Discord for sometime now, and I reached out to him today at EXACTLY 4:14PM EST about selling some Krono's to him...

I am not a person who likes to be involved in drama or make a long post, but I think it is time to share some of my side of the story.
I have been on and off of this site for 4 years and decided to finally commit some more time to it. I sold my first account back in 2001 when the Stromm server was first released, so I have some experience in this field.
Any way, Diamond approached me initially to form a relationship. We did many deals together and he even helped me with the wording on my thread and gave me some tips. However, after some time things dramatically changed.
All of a sudden, it seemed like no trader on this forum liked me. Some of the things that happened - DK and other top traders sought out my suppliers and told them not to work with me, threads being started about my "stupid picture", multiple PM's about how no one liked me, some crazy hurtful, and hateful PM's from top traders, constant bumping and price cutting, it was like I was being targeted. I was so confused, because even @Sic posted on my thread (or was it PM's?) that he was "sick of defending me."
Defending me from what? After all of this, it has become clear that DK was definitely playing me and even steering me to do things that would hurt my brand; my relationship with some people here.
From the start I was willing to work with others here, but I was LEARNING. I did make some mistakes along the way, and I apologize for any of those that feel that I may have crossed a line. Every single warning on my account only happened ONE TIME, because I only had to be told once if I was doing something wrong.
Most recently, and probably the scariest and most disturbing thing that happened with DK, is he sent me a bunch of Discord messages saying that I was being targeted personally and in real life. He did say @Xuande had my personal info, and I had to talk to Redbot to make sure that I would be safe. He then posted my personal LinkedIn and a message here on ECT that was directed at me that said "I guess I need to kill him" and "burn him."
I am still wondering if this is a safe place for me to trade. I have met many wonderful people here, and after all of this drama has subsided I really do hope this community can move forward and be stronger than ever.
I pray that DK finds Jesus and gets the help that he so desperately needs. I pray his neuropathways in his brain are rewired and he can start a new life.
I propose that we start a Krono fund to help those that were scammed by DK. I am personally willing to part with some of my Krono to help those (with proof) that were scammed. I know that we probably won't be able to make up for all of the losses, but a portion is better than nothing at all.

Since posting the above posts, I've deleted some of them. DK has reached out to me and paid of a portion of the debt he owes me. I dont what the hell is going on with it, but at he is at least trying to make things right with me.....

I can confirm he hated this user in private conversations. At one point he told me he had discovered his RL identity/location or something. I didn't play into it much, because of my medical training and education, and recognized this as a red flag. But most people are just talk on the internet anyway, so I didn't pay it much mind at the time.
DK was not who he claimed or appeared to be. In retrospect, he displays enough of the manipulative traits of narcissism to possibly be diagnosed with it (it's a very rare diagnosis). I'm not surprised he was able to keep a perfect record for this long. Such drug users are called high-functioning. Drug addiction makes people unpredictable. And the internet provides an additional layer for such people to hide these behaviors behind. So tunnel-friends shouldn't be surprised, when taking all of this into account, if they didn't know the real DK or were fooled by him.
And now that I think about it, he did seem to display a bit of grandiosity for a krono reseller. For the record: Nobody will ever become a millionaire reselling krono in Everquest. No fucking clue how a person develops an ego reselling krono. Not like they are a fucking doctor, lawyer, architect, or engineer. Shit has just gotten weirder and weirder since 2020. Stay humble elf-friends. DK was an interesting character, as are most narcissistic drug addicts. Won't be much to talk about anymore now that he's gone.

Hey man, this is what he does. He's pulling a confidence scam on you so that you'll keep supplying and eventually fall into his trap. He's gotten away with this in the past because he makes right for anybody that speaks up publicly, so that he can continue it.

I'm pretty sure nobody likes you because you were undercutting everyone and driving the price of krono down to solely benefit yourself. You took the Walmart approach, trying to take all business for yourself at the expense of every other trader. That and agreeing to deals numerous times and then backing out of them. Just saying.
No intention of continued dealings. I am giving him/them the opportunity to make it right and pay me what is owed.
From what he is saying they are pulling out of EQ after this incident.
I was spilling the tea so to speak about confidential dealings between the two of us because he had blocked me on discord. But since they did reach out to me and offer to reimburse me the KR that is owed with KR I decided I don't want to add fuel to the fire or get involved in the drama.
I am still owed 24 KR at this time, they did send me 6 KR since I started posting.
He told me something quite interesting a few years ago. I play poker professionally and got to talking to him about poker and he mentioned to me that he was part owner of a poker club or two and that he was rigging shuffling machines to be able to make a specific player win. He showed me some computer chip he said he had made and it even had his logo on it. He deleted these comments shortly after making them. Whether this is/was true or not I don't know for sure but I thought it was quite fucked up he basically admitted to cheating people out of money through poker because even if he was just talking out of his ass it's still quite fucked up to openly admit to blatantly scamming people.

It was always pretty clear he was taking my Krono and using it to pay off other debts, stringing things along — but honestly, I make so much Krono I didn’t mind helping him out.
He was a decent guy to me and always paid back what he owed.
Hell, I even sent him Christmas gifts of Krono every year to show some appreciation.
It was kinda funny though — I’d sell him a pile of Krono, and a week later he’d message me like "man, it’s so slow, I can’t sell anything," while my friends (who I farm Krono with) were telling me, "Yo, Diamond Krono just hit me up for 10 Krono."
I’d just laugh, because I’ve been down that road myself when I was deep into drugs — and yeah, probably kinda dumb of me to keep helping, but I always want to believe people can change.
Over the years, I’ve had debts with him as high as $2,000, and he’d always eventually pay me back.
So honestly, it’s a shame to see it end like this for him.
I hope he gets the help he needs.

Over the years, I’ve had debts with him as high as $2,000, and he’d always eventually pay me back.
So honestly, it’s a shame to see it end like this for him.

You know, this Krono game really does remind me of the drug game sometimes — but that’s a conversation for another day.

To respond to both of ya'lls post here;
I definitely got played by him as far as judgment of character. I'd occasionally get sent a random meme or something from him after "solving a dispute" or whatever. He'd message me over what he thought was a risky user and I'd usually investigate into it, (few times we did this it lead to past-known-scammers being re-banned) so, it was exactly where he needed me to be. I'd also get the shower of praise from him for being "a great guy" or telling me I should be a mod here. Essentially, love-bombing. I think the big reason I wasn't pulled into this circle is because apart from that one major SWTOR deal with my friend, I usually only buy 6 - 10 Krono at a time, and that's maybe once a year. So was easy for him to be the honest salesman to show what a great guy he is. (He'd have my Krono delivered before I could even open PayPal sometimes) However, these were always low-risk deals so why not? And, I keep my in-game vs ECT relationships anonymous, minus one user I know, so I considered him to be reputable, but not a "buddy of mine" or anything which I think has been talked about before.
I find this interesting because I'm working towards a career in psychology (probably even told him this at one point or another) and this definitely begins to reach near the narcissism realm. However part of the reason it's almost impossible to diagnose someone with Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) is because of a lot of factors. Mainly, lots of the NPD traits also overlap (comorbidities) with several other disorders; anxiety, depression, drugs, etc... So we can discuss narcissistic traits (I mentioned the grandiosity earlier, and Sage you're right, that amount, for a Krono reseller is excessive) but it'd be hard to narrow it down to NPD. However he definitely has some issues he needs to get worked out.
I've dealt with a narc' in a personal setting (part of what got me into psychology, she was really, really bad) but the only professional advice I've received on dealing with them is unless they're begging for your help, don't. But again, that's extremely rare. Because of that personal past, I usually keep a sensitive eye on stuff like that, but, I was also never in a position to be used so that flag was never raised; until now.
Anyways, that's kinda my personal take on the dramatic side of things since this is becoming larger by the day. Figured it's easier to throw it out there in case it's a snippet of help to anyone.
I've always felt pretty involved with ECT, but damn, sometimes it's sucks to get a peek behind the curtains. Again, sorry to everyone affected, and hoping this helps enable ECT to go back to a chill community.

Aggressive reselling so he doesn't have to work at Walmart maybe. But yea Dealt walking in here talking about Jesus, like he isn't only out for himself, with his RL pic, or the baby on the backpack thing. Like you are a family man in business, when you're just a newbie flipping some krono so you don't have to go work at Walmart. I'm not buying it. You weren't passing the smell test, and I still don't like you. And there's not enough krono liquidity for someone to go Full Amazon on ECT. But you know what my boy TI say, just live your life. You can pretend you're a boss after all. We deal in fantasies here.
I refer you back to this. At least Diamond didn't try to squeeze out farmers with his constant undercutting of the market so he didn't have to be a King flipping my burger at Burger King.
EQ is a small community. ECT is even smaller. I waited YEARS before I even made public postings on ECT. I don't rely on this. I don't need it. So I feel free to speak my mind regarding you.
Its crazy to me, that most of the people that come forward with extremely negative opinions about Dealt are literally just his competitors. All of you top sellers LEAN on your image to sell, you all list #1 - 10 in your listings, you list your massive feedback scores. And yet you expect a new seller to just come in and match your prices? You know exactly how that would go lol.
It seems you guys have created "rules" you want someone to follow, but in doing so left yourselves with a massive advantage still.
I mean why would anyone pay $11 for 1kr when you can get the same for $10? Obviously because of feedback, reputation etc. Which is all valid. But that means that someone coming into the game, with the intent to mass sell, has to offer krono cheaper. And yet according to some people thats bad faith?
Everyone on this site who seriously sells aggressively bumps.
And we literally are now learning that even the TOP SELLER can scam people, so getting mad at someone for backing off of a deal when it was never discussed who would go first is genuinely silly (this was even the case even before the diamond shit happened).
