These are perfectly viable FTP accounts. The only prestige items are the Stone of Tranquility which you can let lapse into an unusable state and you would still have some 425 purity to use with Power Sources.

Rogue almost ready, druid coming shortly. Extra cleric, wizards and bards in the mix.

What's the point of using heroic charisma on the bards? I'd think heroic dex or agi would be better options.

I mix CHA and DEX. Once I started raising CHA above 1k H I never ever saw mez resists anymore. Before doing that, I would see resists and of course that tied up the bard from any DPS and/or grp benefit songs. One resist on a short fight (like a grinding mob - 10 to 20 second battle) could tie the bard up for the whole fight.

The ultimate test is in a constant 2 to 3 XTar camp (say with 103 lvl mobs). A missed mez can kill a wizzy. If an XTar mob manages a double/triple or even a quad, and gets lucky with a crit, bam dead wizzy. The test includes sustainability, meaning the sustained holding of a multiple mob spawn over long periods of time. The CHA/Dex setup allows me to do that.

Cool, thanks for clarifying. Waaaaaaaay back in the day I was involved in the discussion as to whether charisma helped with mezzing/charming. I thought the findings was that it didn't affect it very much, but it would make sense that heroic charisma did SOMETHING... since otherwise it would be less than worthless.
