Bump/configure auto bump

Is there any way to split up the bump thread and configure autobump? If not, could a yes/no confirmation be added to the bump thread process, or make it only doable from inside the thread? I noticed the bump/autobump buttons and meant to set up autobump. As I’m on a phone and have nubs for fingers, I ended up bumping it instead. This was a thread I just started today.
